From Prince and The Revolution, The Time, The Family, Purple Rain, and NPG (the New Power Generation) to the Revolution once more, these are the musicians, singers, producers and composers who were at Prince’s right hand throughout his incredible, trail-blazing journey – all co-conspirators in the creation of the music that changed the world, blending funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelia, and pop into something much bigger than the sum of its parts.
A hugely ambitious project, the concert features over 13 extraordinary musicians and singers from around the world performing music from the entire catalogue of PRINCE.
Every member of this ensemble has earned their chops working with the man himself over the long haul, and now for the first time ever, they bring their collective creativity to us – over 60 combined years of Prince collaboration spanning five decades, performing the music they helped create.
The line up includes St Paul Peterson, Shelby J, Andy Allo, Nik West, Stokely Williams (Mint Condition), Mike Scott, Jellybean Johnson, Ricky Peterson, Dr Fink and the NPG horns.
